Office Administrator

Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream is a locally-owned ice cream manufacturer and collection of ice cream shoppes based out of Madison, WI. With over 55 years in the ice cream industry, we strive to produce the best, super premium ice cream along with the best, super premium team members!

We're expanding and looking for a new member to join our office team as an Office Administrator!

Job Purpose

Ensure the efficiency of the day-to-day operations in the main office. Support the work of management and other staff, aid in order taking, filing and other administrative functions.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Maintaining productive customer relations by answering phones promptly and courteously, forwarding calls appropriately, and answering and following up on questions knowledgeably
  • Accurately and promptly taking, processing and invoicing wholesale orders
  • Providing clear and prompt communication and follow up with customers and other departments regarding orders
  • Ensuring guests are properly and courteously checked in and directed appropriately
  • Aiding the office manager and other staff with additional projects and adminstrative work
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Customer service driven mindset
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in word processing, excel and email
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • At least one year of office experience preferred

First shift 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday
Salary: $14-$15/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
