45th anniversary
Week 1

Wednesday, August 1:

Kick off to 45 Years of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream! All three stores will be decked out in 60’s décor. We are choosing entries from the trivia question answers that we have received since the Thursday before so prizes will be given hourly. The prizes will range from t-shirts, hats, coupons for future product, and in-store product if the winner is present at the time their name is drawn.

We are beginning our 6th "Name the Flavor" contest. This year’s flavor is a peanut butter ice cream with swirls of gooey caramel and tons of brownie chunks. There will be a timeline starting in 1962 reflecting historical, political, artistic and Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream.

Thursday, August 2:

Donation Day! Thursdays throughout the entire month will feature a different Madison-based non-profit organization. Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream believes that giving back to these organizations for the important work that they do for the community is one of the few ways it can help. That is why 10% of the sales from all of our three company-owned retail locations will be given to these various organizations. Each week there will be a different one and the history of the organization with their mission statement and a contact for others to get involved will be provided. The first organization is the Rodney Scheel House.

Trivia Question for this week…You must enter at any of the three Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company owned stores: 468 State Street, 1726 Fordem Avenue, or 519 S. Midvale Boulevard.

Friday, August 3:

Friday Night is Party Night! We want customers to come dressed in their favorite attire from the era, ready to sing, dance, and eat ice cream! Prizes will be given for the best costume, best singer, best dancer, and other contests throughout the evening. The first party is Peace, Love and Ice Cream! 60’s is the focus, get creative!

Saturday, August 4:

Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Midvale will proudly be hosting Sean Michael Dargen from the Kissers! He will be playing from 2-3pm in the store so stop in and check him out!

Sunday, August 5:

Enjoy your Sundae!! 50 cents off sundaes.
